BREED CLASSES: (FCI INT. SHOW) Puppy (6-9 mths), Junior (9-18 mths), Intermediate (15-24 mths), Veteran (8 years+), Open, Working, Champions (Open, Working & Champions – 15 mths +). Breeder Class/Competition – consisting of minimum of 3 & maximum of 5 exhibits of the same breed & variety, without distinction of Sex, bred by the same person, even if they are no longer owned by the Breeder. PLEASE NOTE – At this show the decisive date in respect of age is on the day of the show.
Working Class – qualification to be attached to entry. Dogs must have obtained minimum of one of the following: Class ”A” Obed., CD, IPO “1” or Breed working test with at least 75% possible marks. CACIB – Only Dogs/Bitches graded ‘EXCELLENT’, awarded 1st Place (being over 15 months of age on the day before the show) from the Intermediate, Open, Working Dog & Champion Classes are eligible to compete for the CACIB. Best of Breed – competed for by Junior & Veteran Dog and Bitch winners (all having been awarded an ‘EXCELLENT’ grading) + the CACIB Dog and Bitch are eligible to compete for Best of Breed. (i.e. possible 6 dogs). Best Puppy – only puppies placed 1st with a ‘VERY PROMISING’ grading may compete for Best Puppy.
BREED CLASSES: (TKC CHAMP SHOW) Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior, Graduate, SA Bred, Veteran, Open, Champion and Exhibition Only (Please note the Best Junior and Best Veteran will come through from the Breed Classes). Supreme Competition by invitation only

PLEASE NOTE: BENCHING SET UP (includes ANYWHERE on the grounds) WILL BE ALLOWED FROM 14h00 ON THURSDAY 7th OCTOBER.
GENERAL - FCI Shows:
· These FCI Shows are being held under an FCI Licence and are all part of the The Spring Weekend.
· FCI events are held under the FCI Rules and Regulations
GENERAL:
· All exhibits must be on leads at all times unless otherwise instructed by a Judge.
· Also please note that unless stated to the contrary the breed will be judged in alphabetical order as listed in Appendix A of Schedule 2 of the KUSA Constitution.
· The Show Committee reserves the right to allocate to OPEN class any dog entered in a Class, for which it is not eligible, or entered in class that does not exist. No refund of entry money will be made where the exhibitor has made an error on the entry form.
· The Show Committee reserves the right to appoint alternative judges, re-allocate breeds and advise all exhibits entered, of an earlier judging time, should the appointed judges be unable to officiate or receive too large or too small an entry.
· Exhibitor numbers can be collected from the show office on before the commencement of the shows.
· Ring plans will be published on the various websites.
· Sufficient parking has been provided and no vehicles will be allowed within the designated show area. Unhitched trailers will be allowed to be pushed in.
· No refunds of entry money will be made for any errors whatsoever made by the Owner/Exhibitor.
· Public catering will be provided at all the shows and events.
· All exhibitors, handlers, owners are advised that they and any exhibit entered in any event may be photographed for, by or on behalf of TKC for the use and possible publication of such photograph by TKC.
· The mating or whelping of bitches within the precincts of the shows is forbidden.
· No animal other than an exhibit entered for competition or exhibition shall be allowed on the grounds, with the exception of registered guide dogs.

INFORMATION: FCI REGULATIONS –
LEVELS FOR ENTRY:
FCI holds Agility and Jumping (not Agility Contact and Agility Non- Contact) Therefore:
· FCI AGILITY – is similar to our KUSA AGILITY CONTACT
· FCI JUMPING – is similar to our KUSA AGILITY NON CONTACT
HOWEVER: The Categories and Grades for both FCI AGILITY and FCI JUMPING are the same as those used for KUSA Agility:
Small, Medium and Large – grades (Levels) 1, 2 and 3 in each size category.
(Noted FCI JUMPING is not in Grades 1 – 4)
COMPETITION: Official & Unofficial
OFFICIAL COMPETITION: This is only for dogs/bitches that have a Kusa Pedigree Certificate (Only for Pedigreed dogs)
UNOFFICIAL COMPETITION: This is for all dogs/bitches whether Pedigreed or non- Pedigreed. All dogs/bitches must have a Kusa registration No.
Please note: All entrants will only have to run ONCE in Agility and ONCE in Jumping on the day. That is, those Pedigree dogs that have entered into the Unofficial and Official competition will only run in the Official competition. On completion of judging, the office will then slot in the times and results of the Pedigreed dogs who, entered into the Unofficial competition, from the results of their runs in the Official competitions and only after the completion of judging will the Winners Announcements be made.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO BOTH OFFICIAL AND UNOFFICIAL COMPETITIONS:
· All Dogs/Bitches are required to have some form of identification (either a micro chip or a tattoo) which must be reflected on the entry form.
· Owners of Exhibits are required to be a member of a Club affiliated to Kusa.
· Dogs coming from or going to a region infected with Rabies must have a valid inoculation certificate against Rabies.
DOGS/BITCHES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COMPETITION ARE:
· Pregnant Bitches
· Bitches in heat
· Dogs/bitches that are apparently ill or hurt
· Doped dogs/bitches.
CERTIFICATES:
C.A.C.I.A.G - CERTIFICATE – This award is available in the Official Agility class only, to the winner of Grade 3 in each height category (small, Medium, Large). The C.A.C.I.A.G can only be awarded to exhibits that has been graded “EXCELLENT” with a clear round and upon ratification by FCI
Title of "International Agility Champion"
Are eligible to apply for the title of "International Agility Champion" (S-M-L) any dog registered with a stud book recognized by the FCI which will have earned:
Þ 2 CACIAG in two different countries under 2 different judges over a minimum period of one year and one day
Þ the grading "Good" (at least) in a show sanctioned by the FCI
Every country will propose to the FCI its candidates for the title of International Agility Champion and will provide the relevant documents.
GRADING CERTIFICATES:
These will be issued to both the Official and Unofficial competitors. The Judge will issue these certificates on the day under the following criteria set by the FCI
Qualification / certificate
In agility tests, (including Agility/Jumping Official and unofficial) the following ‘qualifications’ will be given: SPONSORED BY :
0 to 5,99 total faults EXCELLENT
6 to 15,99 total faults VERY GOOD
16 to 25,99 total faults GOOD
more than 26 total faults NO QUALIFICATION
‘Total faults’ means: all the faults on the obstacles plus all the time faults
PRIZES – for both Official and Unofficial competitions:
· Rosettes – 1st – 3rd in each class
· Dog Food prizes
Noted: This Event is held under the FCI Agility Regulations and under an FCI Licence
ALL EXHIBITORS/HANDLERS ARE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTROL OF THEIR DOGS AT ALL TIMES AND SHALL BE PERSONALLY LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS WHICH MAY BE MADE IN RESPECT OF INJURIES WHICH MAY ARISE OR BE CAUSED BY THEIR DOGS.
