Gauteng Dog Jumping League
After many years of absence It is finally back again - the Gauteng Dog Jumping League.
Thanks to Alett for taking on this task.
This is how it works:
Only Gauteng Shows count towards the League.
All shows count "equally" (Championship and Open shows).
All handlers competing at Gauteng Shows are automatically entered into the league.
There is no cost involved.
The league works on a simple point system.
In a class of 10 dogs, the winner gets 10 points. Second gets 9 points, Third gets 8 points etc. Last dog gets 1 point.
In a class of 1 dog the winner gets 1 point.
Hence winning a large class/show will get you more points than winning a small class/show.
However, this also means that Grades can NOT be directly compared. I.e. Large dogs and Small dogs are kept on separate tables, as are the
different Grades.
Points are independant of clear rounds and/or speed.
The table will be updated regularly, at least once a month, but preferably more frequently.
Come and check often where you and your dog are "on the league".
